Traditions and Transformation: Celebrating Ojibwe Heritage

Ojibwe educators will demonstrate the traditions and customs of northern Wisconsin's indigenous people. Contemporary Indian artists will show their work, connecting the present to the past.

Adults $7; children (5-17) $3.50; students and senior citizens (65 and over) and students with student identification $6; family (two adults and two or more dependent children 5-17) $19.

The museum, composed of three historic island structures and the modern Capser Center, contains exhibits detailing Wisconsin history from 17th-century exploration and the era of the fur trade to the arrival of summer tourists, known as cottagers, in the early 20th century.
